This page explains our standard warranty coverage and the process for warranty claims for EV chargers and related products/services.

Standard warranty term

Unless a specific quote, invoice, or contract states otherwise, CHARGISTHAN EV chargers are covered by a standard 2-year warranty from the date of installation/commissioning or delivery (as specified in your documentation).

Accessories and spare parts may have different warranty terms. Project-specific deployments (B2B, CPO, enterprise) may include customized warranty and service-level terms in the contract.

What the warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use
  • Failures that occur despite correct installation and operation
  • Repair or replacement (at our discretion) of defective parts or units, after assessment

What is not covered (common exclusions)

  • Improper installation, commissioning, or wiring; installation not performed by qualified personnel
  • Use outside stated specifications (power supply, environment, duty cycle, connector compatibility)
  • Physical damage, vandalism, accidents, mishandling, or tampering
  • Unauthorized modifications, non-approved spare parts, or third-party repairs without our approval
  • Damage caused by power quality issues, surges, lightning, flooding, fire, or other force majeure events
  • Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

How to make a warranty claim

Email care@chargisthan.com with “Warranty Claim” in the subject line and include: (1) customer/company name, (2) site address, (3) product model/serial number (if available), (4) installation/commissioning date, (5) a description of the issue, and (6) photos or videos (and error codes/logs if applicable).

We may guide you through troubleshooting steps, remote diagnostics (where available), or request an on-site inspection.

Repair, replacement, and turnaround

If the issue is covered, we will repair the product or replace it with the same model or an equivalent model (subject to availability). Replaced parts or units may be new or refurbished to equivalent performance.

Turnaround time depends on the nature of the issue, parts availability, and site accessibility. We will provide an estimated timeline after initial assessment.

Important notes

For safety, do not attempt to open, repair, or modify charging equipment unless explicitly instructed by authorized technicians. Doing so may void the warranty.

This warranty is in addition to rights and remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws; those rights are not excluded where they cannot be excluded.
